Powers
- Mindspeach
- Telepathy
- Spell Mark: Allows her the ability to cast an area into complete unnatural darkness; but when used in the water it causes the waters to turn black and gain a sludge-like consistency that slows and traps enemies/prey. She can control the severity of this spell, and is the only one who can disable it.
Notes
- She can mindseak, and read minds of those who do not have a more powerful telepathy ability than she does.
- Her physical traits are also unusual in that she has no long fins for swimming, aside from the fin that courses along her back (this fin has been ripped around the shoulder area, due to a run-in with a deepsea predator when she was young). Her physical traits almost mark as more of a bottom-dweller than a swimmer, and her unusual ability to withstand the heat of magma-warmed waters allows her to linger in areas other Merkanlos would be unable to.
- She has perfect nightvision, both above and beneath the waters. Her tail is made of hardened flesh and bone, more of a defensive trait than useful tail fins.
- The familiars that generally follow Merkanlos around have no species name, but the ones that follow her around are unusual in that they are of a red-hue instead of blue. This is perhaps because they came from an area of the oceans where magma-heated algae was found. In the case of these two, they are referred to as 'Klnorri', which is a Merkanlos term for red-hued ocean dwellers.
